Welcome to PureChems. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website purechems.eu (the "Site") and any purchase you make from us. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase our products.

1. Definitions

  • "PureChems," "we," "us," "our" refers to the operator of purechems.eu.
  • "Customer," "you," "your" refers to any person who accesses the Site or places an order.
  • "Products" refers to the research materials and related items offered for sale on the Site.

2. Eligibility

By using the Site or placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction);
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract;
  • You are a qualified professional, researcher, or institution acquiring Products for lawful research purposes only;
  • All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or restrict access at our sole discretion.

3. Research Use Only

All Products are sold strictly for laboratory and research use only and are not for human or animal consumption, nor for any diagnostic, therapeutic, cosmetic, food, drug, medical, or household use. Products are not approved by the EMA, FDA, or any regulatory body for such uses.

By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You will handle, store, and use all Products in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and good laboratory practice;
  • You accept full responsibility for the safe and lawful handling, use, and disposal of the Products;
  • You will not resell, distribute, or provide Products to any person for consumption or any purpose prohibited by law;
  • You assume all risk and liability arising from your possession or use of the Products.

4. Products, Pricing & Availability

We strive to describe our Products accurately, including specifications and Certificates of Analysis (COA) where available. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, or other content are error-free.

All prices are listed in Euros (EUR) and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, limit order quantities, and discontinue any Product at any time. Availability is not guaranteed and orders are subject to acceptance and stock.

5. Orders & Acceptance

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. A confirmation email acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance. A binding contract is formed only when we dispatch the Products. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected intent to misuse the Products.

6. Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering through the payment methods offered at checkout. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. Orders will not be dispatched until payment has cleared.

7. Shipping

Shipping timelines, methods, and costs are described in our Shipping Policy. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address; we are not liable for delays or losses caused by incorrect address details.

8. Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Return Policy. Due to the sensitive nature of our Products, opened or unsealed items cannot be returned. Please review that policy before ordering.

9. Customer Responsibilities & Compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the purchase, import, possession, and use of the Products is legal in your jurisdiction. Regulations vary by country. It is your responsibility to verify local laws before ordering. We are not responsible for any Products seized, delayed, or refused by customs or any authority, and no refund is guaranteed in such cases.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, product descriptions, and the PureChems name — is the property of PureChems or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and Products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement, except for any warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PureChems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from the use or misuse of the Products, including any use in violation of Section 3. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product(s) giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PureChems, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Products, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic and the applicable law of the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Slovak Republic, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site or placing of an order after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Please review these Terms periodically.
