What is CJC-1295 DAC?
CJC-1295 DAC is a GHRH analog built on the modified GRF(1-29) sequence, with one extra lysine at the end. That lysine carries the Drug Affinity Complex (DAC), a maleimide linker that binds covalently to albumin in the blood. Bound to albumin, the peptide is protected from breakdown and from clearance by the kidneys. Published pharmacokinetic studies report a half-life of roughly 6 to 8 days, against about 30 minutes for the version without DAC.
